Merrick Andlinger is an experienced private equity investor, board member and advisor in energy, cleantech, manufacturing and industrial products and services. He is heading the international private equity firm Andlinger & Company which his father Gerhard Andlinger has founded more than 40 years ago. The firm operates offices in Europe as well as in the USA and the current portfolio consists of innovation champions and strong niche players with an industrial client base or B2B.

Prior Merrick Andlinger joined the family business he has been with Salomon Brothers for 10 years where he served as Vice President of the corporate finance and M&A division. After that he has been the Managing Director and Co-head „Global energy & power group“ of Smith Barney which is today known as Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.

Merrick Andlinger received a Bachelor degree in English & American Studies from the Princeton University and holds a Master degree in Business Administration from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

The Andlinger family funded the Andlinger Center for Energy and Environment at the Princeton University where Merrick serves the advisory board.
