Hans-Joachim von Wartenberg, Attorney at Law and MBA, is a member of the board of the publicly listed company DF Deutsche Forfait AG. Additionally, he works as an independent consultant under the name BoW Berlin, advising companies and associations in the fields of Public Affairs and Public Relations.
Prior to this, Wartenberg served as the Head of Office in Berlin for a renowned communications agency based in Cologne. From 2003 to 2015, he was a corporate lawyer and part of the management team at RITTAL GmbH & Co. KG, including three years in China.
Wartenberg has been involved in various committees and political bodies, including: the Asia-Pacific Committee of German Business (APA), the CDU/CSU Parliamentary Group in the German Bundestag, the Representative of German Industry and Trade (RGIT) in Washington D.C., the German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHK) in New York and Shanghai, as well as the CDU and Junge Union.
His current memberships include: the Eastern Committee of German Business (Ost-Ausschuss der Deutschen Wirtschaft e.V.), the Near and Middle East Association (NUMOV), the Structural Policy Society (Strukturpolitische Gesellschaft e.V.), the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP), the Hamm Bar Association, and the Rotary Club Dillenburg.
