Lawyer Hans-Joachim v. Wartenberg is self-employed and advises companies and associations in the fields of public affairs and public relations under the name B o W Berlin. He represents the interests of his clients towards politics, ministries, administration, associations and the media. Furthermore, B o W Berlin supports its clients in internal and external communication and advises on legal and regulatory issues.

Until 2018 von Wartenberg was senior consultant at a renowned communications agency in Cologne and headed up his Berlin office. He previously worked in corporate management and as a corporate lawyer. From 2003 to 2015 he was active in management for RITTAL GmbH & Co. KG, including three years in Shanghai. In China, he was responsible for expanding RITTAL's international customer business.

Von Wartenberg completed an EMBA study at the THM Gießen in 2013. Since 2005 he is a registered lawyer.

He has worked in various committees and political committees. These include: Asia-Pacific Committee of German Business (APA), CDU / CSU Parliamentary Group, Representative of German Industry and Trade (RGIT) in Washington D.C., German Chamber of Commerce (AHK) in New York and Shanghai, CDU and Young Union.

Current memberships are: CDU Kreis Höxter, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung e. V., Near and Middle East Association e. V. (NUMOV), Structural Political Society e. V., German Association for Foreign Policy e. V. (DGAP), Hamm Bar Association, Rotary Club Dillenburg.
